Navigating the New Oregon Taxes (February 2021)
Join us for a webinar about Oregon’s new Corporate Activity Tax (CAT) and other state and local tax changes now in effect for the new year. The new Oregon CAT applies to sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations with Oregon sourced income – whether from sales of tangible personal property or services. The Supportive Housing Services Tax (“Metro Tax”) applies to certain businesses operating and individuals living in the metro jurisdiction. The Preschool for All Tax applies to certain individuals living or working in Multnomah County.
In this webinar, Diana Strassmaier will lead you through the important details of legislation and help you prepare for the complex implications of the new taxes. During her presentation, you’ll learn about important topics such as setting yourself up for success with the new Oregon Corporate Activities Tax (CAT), what the Metro Tax means to you, understanding the Preschool for All Tax and complying with these new taxes.
