Managing Vaccines in the Workplace: Mandate, Encourage or Steer Clear
As the new administration prioritizes an acceleration in the production and distribution of vaccines, employers around the country are beginning to ask the inevitable question: “should we make the COVID-19 vaccine mandatory and a condition for continued employment?” Answering this question will require employers to weigh legal, cultural, religious, collective bargaining and health considerations.
