Mercy Hansen joined Aldrich CPAs and Advisors in 2022. Mercy has vast experience in auditing local city, county, and special district governments in Oregon. She also has extensive knowledge in performing single audits under the uniform guidance for federal grant awards and testing for compliance with the Oregon Local Budget Law. In addition, she obtained specialized training in prevention, detection, and investigation of financial fraud. Mercy knows and values the importance of her role as a municipal auditor and strives to hold local governments accountable while also providing them with support.

Mercy graduated with her bachelor’s in accounting and international business from LeTourneau University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She is also a member of multiple organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Outside of work, Mercy enjoys many activities that involve finding solutions, including doing jigsaw puzzles, sudoku, escape rooms, and cryptograms.
