John Lauseng is the Chief Executive Officer of Aldrich, a role he assumed on July 1, 2020.
An Oregon native, John joined Aldrich in 2009 as an auditor in the accounting firm. He brought extensive experience with financial statement assurance, business consulting, and financial due diligence to the Aldrich manufacturing niche and helped companies strengthen their financial reporting and internal controls to support their strategic business goals. Most recently, he served as president of Aldrich CPAs + Advisors LLP, overseeing service quality, processes, and technical staffing resources for the entire Aldrich footprint.
John’s experience leading major client attest engagements and advising on financial reporting and performance optimization have made him a trusted industry advisor in the firm for years, and in 2013, he was appointed to the Oregon State Board of Accountancy.
John was named one of the Portland Business Journal’s Executives of the Year for 2023 and was honored as one of ten leaders on Accounting Today’s 2023 MP Elite list.
Before joining Aldrich, John worked for a large international accounting firm where he performed complex attestation work. He is an Oregon State University graduate with a degree in accounting.
