James Keen has over 15 years experience as an engineering analyst and in complex regulatory proceedings, which includes electric, natural gas, oil and gas pipeline, water and wastewater, and refuse utilities. He focuses on revenue requirement, cost of service and depreciation studies as well as tariff filings, certificate issues and other financial analyses and regulatory matters. This background makes him an integral part of Aldrich’s Communications and Utilities teams.
Prior to joining Aldrich, James spent ten years serving as the chief of the engineering department at the Regulatory Commission of Alaska. Before entering the regulatory arena, James was a gas turbine design engineer for Rolls-Royce North America. James has a degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and is a Certified Depreciation Professional.
