Aldrich Welcomes Three New Partners

LAKE OSWEGO, OR, DEC 20, 2023— Aldrich is pleased to announce it has named three new partners, Joylyn Ankeney, Brendan Hollis, and Eric Seifert, effective January 1, 2024.

Joylyn Ankeney, CPA

Joylyn Ankeney has been assisting clients with estate and trust planning and compliance since 1999. She focuses on helping her clients by providing tax planning strategies for families with a focus on wealth transfer planning. Her background working with charitable organizations helps her find creative solutions to help clients optimize their charitable goals.

By regularly attending national industry conferences she is able to keep abreast of the latest in planned giving and trust planning opportunities. Joylyn also enjoys speaking on issues that matter to her clients in all areas of tax planning and compliance. She is a board member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland and a member of the OHSU Planned Giving Council. Joylyn graduated from the University of Oregon.

Brendan Hollis, CPA, CM&AA

Brendan Hollis specializes in providing tax and financial planning services to construction contractors, manufacturers and distributors. He helps business owners with their financial planning to grow wealth for retirement and effectively meet their families’ future needs.

Brendan also advises clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, including structuring acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and carve-outs. He has expertise in tax modeling, tax benefit analyses, tax due diligence, and tax planning for “step-ups” (e.g., Sections 338(h)(10), 336(e), or 754 elections). He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Surety Association, Denver Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth, and the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. Brendan attended CSUSM, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accountancy.

Eric Seifert, CPA, MAcc

Eric Seifert joined Aldrich out of graduate school in the Fall of 2013, and now leads our Client Accounting Services (CAS) group. His expertise is in navigating complex tax and accounting issues across multiple industries, including real estate and private equity, professional services, and entertainment.

Eric is a strong believer in the power of business and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses. He received his master’s degree in Accounting and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business.
