Travis Smith joined Aldrich in 2023. He brings a background in corporate finance, with early career experience supporting public companies through forecasting, budgeting, margin analysis, and strategic financial analysis initiatives. His work included preparing presentations for board meetings and executive leadership, developing detailed financial models to support operation and sales teams, and partnering cross-functionally to drive data-informed decision-making. He also assisted corporate development teams with merger and acquisition activities, including transaction modeling, due-diligence support, and post-merger integration. Across these roles, Travis developed a disciplined, analytical approach to financial problem-solving that now informs his valuation and advisory work.
Travis earned a Master of Business Administration from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Finance from Western Washington University. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and an affiliate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
For Travis, the most rewarding aspect of his work is supporting clients in making well-informed decisions and seeing the tangible impact of his efforts on their businesses and lives. He is particularly drawn to the blend of “art and science” inherent in business valuation, recognizing that real-world engagements frequently involve nuances and exceptions that require both creativity and specialized knowledge. Outside of work, Travis enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children.
