We are pleased to announce that the Daily Journal of Commerce has selected Tracy Allen of Aldrich CPAs + Advisors as a 2017 Women of Vision award winner. Tracy is one of 46 women who will be honored for their roles in shaping the industry in Oregon and southwest Washington.

The annual DJC Women of Vision awards recognize women who have demonstrated strong industry leadership and community involvement, in addition to a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and mentorship. Winners will be honored at an awards luncheon that will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., October 10, at The Sentinel, 614 S.W. 11th Ave., in Portland. In addition to the awards presentation, the luncheon will feature a panel discussion on women in the construction industry.

Tracy is a thought leader in the construction financial accounting industry and has been awarded on numerous occasions for her accomplishments. Her previous recognition includes the 2016-17 Founder’s Award for the Construction Financial Managers Association, presented for exemplifying the outstanding qualities of the organization. Additionally, Tracy was selected from a pool of hundreds of applicants to participate in the AICPA Leadership Academy, which seeks out emerging leaders in the accounting profession. She has collaborated to create two successful educational webinars for the CFMA and is actively involved with the leadership task force for the Oregon Society of CPAs.

In addition to her contributions to the industry as a whole, Tracy is a distinguished leader and mentor within her own firm. The only female partner in the Aldrich CPAs + Advisors construction industry practice, Tracy also serves as head of the Oregon construction group. She serves as a key member of the Aldrich recruiting team attracting new talent who fit our culture. She is known for coaching fellow staff members on technical work and client relations, as well as providing mentorship to young people through our student leadership programs.

“Tracy is an outstanding leader in the construction community, the accounting profession, and our firm, as well as a mentor and coach to others. We are proud to see her honored for her hard work and accomplishments,” said Joe Schneid, Construction Partner, Aldrich Group of Companies.
