Presented by Aldrich

LAKE OSWEGO, OR, July 29, 2026 — Aldrich recently hosted its 18th annual Action Day, bringing employees together across seven volunteer sites to support nonprofit organizations in the communities where they live and work. As part of the firm’s longstanding commitment to giving back, Aldrich offices closed early for the day, allowing employees to volunteer with organizations addressing local needs.

“Action Day reflects our commitment to the communities where we live and work,” said Melissa Berndt, Partner – Chief People Officer + General Counsel. “It’s an opportunity for our people to strengthen connections while supporting organizations that make a lasting impact. We’re proud to invest our time and talents in the communities we call home.”

This year’s Action Day brought employees alongside organizations focused on food security, animal welfare, senior services, and sustainable transportation, with each office partnering with a local nonprofit to make a meaningful impact.

  • In Salem, Oregon, employees volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society, Salem Campus, where they helped improve outdoor spaces for shelter dogs, created enrichment toys, toured the shelter, and spent time socializing with animals awaiting adoption.
