Shawn Neibaur is Director of Security Engineering at Aldrich Solutions, where he applies deep technical expertise to help clients assess, design, and strengthen their security environments. He leads engagements spanning risk assessments, security architecture reviews, vulnerability analysis, and strategic security engineering for technology startups, mid-market software companies, and enterprise organizations, aligning security strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining Aldrich Solutions via acquisition, Shawn served as Director of Security Engineering at Summit Security Group. There, he shaped delivery of security services and led client engagements focused on pragmatic threat reduction and resilient security practices. Earlier in his career, he held security engineering and information security roles at SirsiDynix, BambooHR, and Viewpoint, building a strong foundation in both operational and enterprise security.

Shawn specializes in architecting scalable security frameworks across legacy, hybrid, and cloud-native environments. His approach emphasizes automation, risk-based decision-making, and operational sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and certifications including CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CEH, and CompTIA Security+.

When he’s not solving security challenges, Shawn enjoys painting, board games, and overanalyzing movies with his two children.
