We are excited to announce that the Daily Journal of Commerce has named Jim Dailey, Aldrich Partner and CPA, as a 2017 icon of the construction industry in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

The DJC’s new award program honors long-time leaders who work in and with regional building industries. Jim is one of nine professionals who will be recognized for their roles in shaping the Pacific Northwest construction industry at an event later this week. The awards ceremony will be held from 4:30 – 7:00 pm on December 14^th, at the Sentinel Hotel, 614 SW 11^th Ave., in Portland, Oregon.

Jim is a highly regarded leader with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been directly involved in the Construction Financial Management Association for many years and helped develop two courses for the CFMA that are now being taught at a national level. Jim is well-respected by his clients, who trust his industry expertise to guide them through major events such as transitioning their businesses to the next generation.

Jim played an important role in our firm’s growth and development. He joined Aldrich in 1993 after a career working for a privately owned construction company in order to build our construction industry practice, which now serves more contractors in Oregon and Southwest Washington than any other CPA firm. He has served as a mentor for a variety of staff members, helping develop their industry knowledge and teaching multiple leadership development courses for professionals across the organization as a whole.
