Patricia Murphy Hirata joined Aldrich CPAs and Advisors in 2022. Before Aldrich, Pat led several wealth and estate planning groups as a Partner at the 5th largest accounting firm in the U.S. and served as the Chief Financial Officer at a nationally recognized real estate company. Pat has significant expertise in various areas, including the high-tech, real estate, and healthcare industries. She also guides clients through complex issues, including mergers and acquisitions, partnership taxation, family office structuring, and estate and gift tax planning and compliance.
At various professional conferences, Pat frequently speaks on income, estate, and succession planning services. As a CPA and attorney, Pat has a deep understanding of tax structuring and compliance, which allows her to serve her clients with distinction, while exceeding their expectations. Pat received her bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, her master’s in Taxation from the University of Southern California, and her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Western State University. Pat is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the State Bar of California.
Pat has had the honor of serving as a board member to both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. In addition, she is a graduate of the Business Advisor program at the University of Chicago. Outside of work, Pat enjoys hiking, running, and traveling, especially to her home in the Southern California desert.
