We are pleased to announce that AKT has named three new partners, Brian Grant, John Lauseng and Dan Larson, effective January 2, 2014.

Brian K. Grant has over 30 years of experience working with public and private companies in manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, finance, and private equity investments. He is also skilled in the valuation and analysis of business, due diligence procedures, and has extensive experience in negotiating business transactions. Brian previously worked with a west coast regional CPA firm for eleven years, has been President and Chief Financial Officer of a venture/development fund, and the Chief Financial Officer of a group of telecommunications and technology companies.
John Lauseng has over 10 years of public accounting experience, spending the first portion of his career with a Big Four accounting firm. He works extensively with medium-sized privately held companies with an emphasis on manufacturing, professional services, technology, and retail. John’s expertise is helping businesses strengthen their financial reporting and internal controls to leverage their financial information to make the best business decisions. He was recently appointed to the Oregon State Board of Accountancy.
Dan Larson joined AKT in June 2010. With over 20 years of public accounting experience, he focuses on providing tax services to construction companies. He has deep expertise in tax accounting methods and tax credits for contractors. Larson often presents at construction industry organizations on issues effecting contractors. He has a Masters of Science in Accountancy with a focus in tax from San Diego State University.
